LIST OF TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED AT THE DIFFERENT SESSIONS

The sessions open to contribution are the following ones:

 "NEWS AROUND THE SPS"

The content of this session will focus on the development of new devices around the SPS:

 - Sintering under controlled atmosphere, assisted by a magnetic field, etc.

 - Sintering of exotic materials in relation to technique (Polymers, etc);

 - Coupling of sintering by SPS with in situ characterization technique

 "SPS: MATERIALS WITH REMARKABLE PROPERTIES", 1ST PART AND SECOND PART

This session deals with the linking of sintering parameters - Microstructure - properties. Several themes will be discussed (no limited list):

 - Reactive sintering;

 - Application materials and transfer to industry;

 - Structure materials & mechanical properties;

 - Multifunctional materials;

 - Materials for energy;

 - Materials for optical properties;

 - Modelization;

 - Multi-materials and components;

 - Magnetic properties;

 - Piezoelectric properties;

 - Thermoelectricity;

 "TOWARD OTHER SINTERING TECHNIQUES: HIP, FLASH SINTERING"

LSPM has just acquired a HIP. This session will introduce HIP technique and other non conventional sintering techniques. It will focus on studies showing the complementarity of the different techniques with massive samples coming from a same batch of powder, sintered with different techniques. This session will also be focused on powder metallurgy and on the influence of powder properties (morphology, size, etc) on the sintering.
